Piano from the Very Beginning (ages 6-15)

It’s your week to play for the first time. This class assumes no previous experience in playing or music reading abilities. Put your hands to the keys in a group setting for beginning lessons, as well as listening to modern pianists, note reading, and learning history of composers and performers. All students need to be able to read letters, numbers and simple sentences. Keyboards provided. $10 supply fee payable to instructor at the first class. (10 max)

Safe Sitter® (ages 11-14)

Ages: 11 - 14
The Safe Sitter® curriculum is designed exclusively for young teens in grades 6-8 (students must be 11), and covers the following areas: safety skills, childcare skills, first aid and rescue skills, and life and business skills. Safe Sitter® courses are instructor-led and interactive, with handson demonstrations and skills practice using soft-bodied dolls and medical manikins. Class fee includes The Official Safe Sitter® Babysitter’s Handbook and completioncard. Parents, plan to attend the last 15minutes for graduation and important information to keep your student safe. Bring a sack lunch, and students will have a half-hour supervised lunch. 7 hrs.
