The Safe Sitter® curriculum is designed exclusively for young teens in grades 6-8 (students must be 11), and covers the following areas: safety skills, childcare skills, first aid and rescue skills, and life and business skills. Safe Sitter® courses are instructor-led and interactive, with handson demonstrations and skills practice using soft-bodied dolls and medical manikins. Class fee includes The Official Safe Sitter® Babysitter’s Handbook and completioncard. Parents, plan to attend the last 15 minutes for graduation and important information to keep your student safe. Bring a sack lunch, and students will have a half-hour supervised lunch. 7 hrs.
