Have you ever heard of Pickleball? Learn the rules, how to score, and get started with this popular game. Pickleball is a game with a paddle, wiffle ball and a tennis-high net played on a court smaller than tennis. Closed-toe tennis shoes required, wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

Checkmate! (ages 6-15)
with MEL SHARP
Play a game that makes you think. Learn the basics of chess so you can play at school, with friends or with your parents. Discover how each piece moves, how to checkmate an opponent and what moves at the start of the game lead to success. Whether beginner or experienced, play lots of games against other students and you might even challenge the teacher. (24 max)

Tie-Dye Workshop (ages 6-13)

Explore the world of color! Create your own tie-dyed fashions using a variety of techniques and designs. Dye a shirt as well as other items. Bring an apron or paint shirt so you don’t dye anything you don’t want to! Kids will be encouraged to bring in used items to practice; $20 supply fee payable to instructor at the first class.
