Backyard Science: Nature in Action (Ages 6-8)

Play a game that makes you think. Learn the basics of chess so you can play at school, with friends, or with your parents. Discover how each piece moves, how to checkmate an opponent and what moves at the start of the game lead to success. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, play lots of games against other students and you might even challenge the teacher. (24 max)

This creative craft class invites children to explore art through finger painting, making friendship bracelets, and creating fun hands-on crafts. Children will experiment with colors, textures, and materials while expressing their ideas and enjoying the process of creating. Each activity encourages creativity, fine-motor skills, and sharing as children proudly make special artwork to take home. $15 supply fee will be payable at registration to cover shared materials.
