Jewelry Making (Ages 9-15)

Dive into the fascinating world of wearable art! Learn basic techniques such as making your own beads, bead stringing, and how to use found objects to make unique pieces in a very hands-on class. $15 supply fee will be payable at registration to cover shared materials. (20 max)

Get ready to make a colorful mess! This class lets little hands explore paint, clay, and other fun materials in a safe, playful environment. Kids will experiment with colors, textures, and shapes while building creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills. Plus, they get to have lots of messy fun! A $5 supply fee will be payable at registration to cover shared materials. (10 max)

Kids will decorate delicious cupcakes using colorful frosting, sprinkles, and fun toppings! Volleyball 101 (Ages 9-15)

Ready…Set…Spike! Play the exciting game of volleyball while having fun. Start with the basics of this great game and then learn the positions on a court and how to play as a team. Volleyballs will be included, but we encourage you to bring your own if you have one. (16 max)

BHP Billiton Youth Camp for 6th graders
with CHRISTINA BEGAYE
Get a taste of college—in a free 5-day camp. Discover various trades and professions that may generate an interest in attending and completing college. Experience team activities, leadership opportunities, and fun educational offerings. BHP Billiton’s sponsorship will provide lunch each day. Campers must be willing to commit to the 5-day camp and come to campus every day. Ask for the class information sheet at the time of registration; it has important information to know about the week. This class has an application process including necessary recommendations. This camp is for students who will finish the 6th or 7th grade in May 2026. Deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 11. SESSION 3: Inventors and Innovators: Tech through Time

Ages: 6 - 11
Travel through time to explore amazing inventions that have changed the world! In this hands-on STEM class, students ages 6–12 will discover how technology has evolved—from simple tools to modern innovations. Through building, experimenting, and problem solving activities, kids will think like real inventors while learning how creativity and curiosity drive new ideas.
