SESSION 3: Inventors and Innovators: Tech through Time

Travel through time to explore amazing inventions that have changed the world! In this hands-on STEM class, students ages 6–12 will discover how technology has evolved—from simple tools to modern innovations. Through building, experimenting, and problem solving activities, kids will think like real inventors while learning how creativity and curiosity drive new ideas.

Become a Jedi (Ages 9-15)

Learn the ways of the Force! Train to become a Jedi Knight and learn the Jedi Code. Participate in games like Capture the Flag, Jeopardy and even Dejarik (Star Wars chess). Bugged Out (Ages 4-5)

Perfect for curious little ones, “Bugged Out!” encourages a love of nature and science while teaching about the tiny creatures that make a big impact on our world. From spotting ladybugs and butterflies to learning about busy bees and wiggly worms, kids will explore bugs through fun crafts, games, stories, and outdoor adventures. From colorful bracelets to stylish earrings and personalized key chains, you’ll learn techniques like beading, wire wrapping, and charm making. Mix it and make it! Kids will create and decorate a variety of tasty treats while learning basic kitchen skills and presentation techniques. Students will experiment with flavors, textures, and designs—building creativity, confidence, and independence in the kitchen.
