Storybook Cooking (Ages 6-11)

Ages: 6 - 11
Step into a world where food and fantasy come together! Our Storybook Cooking Class brings beloved tales to life through hands-on cooking and baking experiences. Perfect for kids and families, this interactive class will guide participants through crafting delicious treats inspired by classic fairy tales, adventure stories, and magical worlds. $25 will be payable at registration to cover shared materials. All other ingredients will be the responsibility of the students. (18 max)

Basketball Central (Ages 9-15)

Dribble, pass, and shoot your way into the game! This high-energy basketball class helps kids learn the basics of basketball through fun drills, games,and teamwork activities. Players will build coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship while staying active and having a ball—no experience needed!

Fun Floral Arrangements (Ages 9-15)

Let your creativity bloom! In thishands-on floral design class, studentswill learn how to create beautifulflower arrangements using beautifulblooms, greenery, and decorativetouches. Kids will explore color,balance, and design while makingarrangements that reflect their ownunique style.

Happy Campers: Camping Adventures (Ages 4-5) NEW!

Get ready for an indoor camping adventure! In this playful class, kids will explore the fun of camping through stories, songs, games, and hands-on activities. Little campers will pretend to set up camp, learn about nature and animals, create camping crafts, and practice teamwork—all while using their imagination and having tons of fun. A $5 supply fee will be payable at registration to cover shared materials.

Indoor Rock Climbing (Ages 6-8)
with CLIMBING WALL STAFF
Ages: 6 - 8
Achieve new heights on the 6,000 square foot wall at San Juan College’s Health and Human Performance Center. Climbing offers a new perspective as you explore routes specifically designed for kids and learn how to boulder (bouldering is a style of rock climbing that is done close to the ground without ropes or harnesses and focuses on technique and control). Build confidence as you learn safety, basic knots and team building skills with activities and games. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic/tennis shoes. Cost includes all necessary equipment, and class cost covers staffing to ensure a 1:5 staff-to-student ratio for safety purposes. (12 max)

Step into the kitchen and make a little Disney magic! In this hands-on cooking class, kids will create fun, easy recipes inspired by their favorite Disney movies and characters. Young chefs will practice basic kitchen skills, follow simple recipes, and enjoy tasting their creations—all while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork. It’s a delicious adventure that’s practically pixie-dusted with fun! $25 will be payable at registration to cover shared materials. All other ingredients will be the responsibility of the students. Flowers, animals, landscapes and seascapes--you’ll be amazed at what you produce each day! Acrylic painting fosters creativity, self-confidence, cognitive focus and fun. Paint step by step with the instructor as you’re guided to find your own style and technique. $20 supply fee will be payable at registration to cover shared materials. (16 max)
