Step into a world where food and fantasy come together! Our Storybook Cooking Class brings beloved tales to life through hands-on cooking and baking experiences. Perfect for kids and families, this interactive class will guide participants through crafting delicious treats inspired by classic fairy tales, adventure stories, and magical worlds. A $25 materials supply fee is included in the total course cost for a total $88. (18 max)

Achieve new heights on the 6,000 square foot wall at San Juan College’s Health and Human Performance Center. Climbing offers a new perspective as you explore routes specifically designed for kids and learn how to boulder (bouldering is a style of rock climbing that is done close to the ground without ropes or harnesses and focuses on technique and control). Build confidence as you learn safety, basic knots and team building skills with activities and games. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic/tennis shoes. Cost includes all necessary equipment, and class cost covers staffing to ensure a 1:5 staff-to-student ratio for safety purposes. (12 max)

In this hands-on class, students will turn their own custom vector and raster designs into real engraved creations. Learn how laser technology works, explore digital design basics, and safely engrave eye-catching designs onto wood. Perfect for creative teens who love art, tech, or engineering—and want to see their ideas come to life in minutes. (5 max)

Kids will learn the art of rug hooking by creating colorful designs using loops of fabric on a rug canvas. This hands-on class encourages patience, focus, and creativity while allowing each child to make a one-of-a-kind piece they will be proud of. A $15 materials supply fee is included in the total course cost for a total $78. (18 Max)

Creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky… this class is all about creative fun with a spooky twist! Kids will design eerie (but not too scary) crafts using dark colors, textures, and imaginative materials. From haunted art pieces to weirdly wonderful creations, this class encourages creativity, humor, and self-expression.A $15 materials supply fee is included in the total course cost for a total $75. (18 Max)

Get ready to mix, test, fizz, and discover! In this hands-on science class, kids become real-life scientists as they explore exciting experiments and amazing reactions. From bubbling potions to surprising discoveries, every session is packed with curiosity and fun. Students will ask big questions, make predictions, and test ideas using safe, kid-friendly experiments. A $20 materials supply fee is included in the total course cost for a total $80. (16 max)
